Livingston striker completes transfer to Championship club
dailyrecord.co.ukLivingston have sold 22-year-old striker Jack Hamilton to Raith Rovers for a ‘nominal’ fee with a sell-on clause ending the youngster’s six year stint in West Lothian.The attacker joined the club in 2017 but failed to break into the first team, making just four league starts for the Lions whilst seeing eight separate loan spells during his stay at the club.He spent time at Penicuik Athletic, Berwick Rangers, Alloa Athletic, Queen of the South, East Fife, Arbroath (twice) and latterly Hartlepool United last season where he netted four times in 38 games at they were relegated from League Two.He’s a proven record in the second tier, however, having bagged 18 goals in 35 appearances across his two spells at Arbroath.Livi boss David Martindale said: “I think this is a great move for Jack.I honestly believe Jack has to go out and find a new home where he can concentrate on his football and get back to doing what Jack does best – scoring goals.“Jack was coming to the end of his contract next season and coming out of compensation.
