LIVIA THE EMPRESS should appreciate the return to a mile for the Ladbrokes Football Acca Boosty Handicap (4.10) at Wolverhampton.

As her name might suggest, the George Scott-trained filly is a daughter of Holy Roman Emperor - Livia was the third wife of Caesar Augustus, who became the first Roman emperor in 27BC.

But enough of the history lesson - the equine Livia The Empress has already shown herself a consistent performer with six placed efforts from her first eight starts.

David Probert's mount captured a nursery over a mile at Chelmsford City in November before being denied by half a length and a nose when third to Space Kid under a 6lb penalty over this course and distance four days later.
