While the limelight was stolen in the midfield by debutant Thiago Alcantara, it was a big day for the 34-year-old as he made his 150th appearance for the Anfield side.
And he sent a message to fans while commenting on a social media post by the club on his latest feat. Writing on his Twitter channel, Milner simply said “here’s to the next 150” as well as adding an emoji of an old man.
