A section of Liverpool fans have flown a plane over Anfield calling for their owners to sell the club.The aircraft circled the stadium shortly ahead of kick-off against Manchester United with the banner reading: 'FSG out - Klopp in - Enough is enough'.
Fenway Sports Group, who have owned the club since 2010, were rumoured that they wanted to sell the club, however the owner John W Henry stated they were committed to looking for minority ownership.
There were a number of boos heard when the plane was spotted, however it went largely unnoticed by the thousands in attendance at the English Premier League clash.Liverpool supporters were furious with FSG back in April 2021 after they committed the club to joining the controversial European Super League.
Eventually the Merseyside club pulled out after fan anger. The relationship between fans and the American firm has not recovered.
