Liverpool fans were delighted with what they saw from new boy Thiago Alcantara as he made his debut against Chelsea on Sunday.
The Spaniard, who only signed for the Reds on Friday, and is yet to train with his new team-mates, came off the bench in the second half at Stamford Bridge.
Thiago replaced captain Jordan Henderson for Liverpool, who picked up an injury to his thigh in the first half, and got to grips with the game immediately.
The midfielder held his own in the middle of the park and continually tried to pick out Sadio Mane and co. with floating balls forward.
