Liverpool supporter Andrew Devine, 55, died on Tuesday (July 27), 32 years after he suffered life-changing injuries at the FA Cup semi-final.
A coroner has now ruled that he is the 97th person to be unlawfully killed in the disaster. Doctors believed Andrew was unlikely to survive the day after his chest was crushed and his brain deprived of oxygen in Britain’s worst-ever sporting disaster.
