Little Richard, one of the most influential musicians in rock and roll, died aged 87, after being ill for two months. The music legend’s son Danny Penniman confirmed the tragic news to Rolling Stone.

Little Richard’s bass guitarist, Charles Glenn, told TMZ he spoke to the singer on 27 March, but couldn’t visit him due to the coronavirus pandemic.
