In the week that Jesy Nelson revealed that she would be taking an "extended break" from Little Mix due to "medical reasons", Perrie Edwards has also spoken out about the pressures of being in the band.
The 27-year-old singer has opened up on ITV's The Jonathan Ross Show, saying that while they were all "willing to work" for their success, the Little Mix stars did not expect being in the band to "be this hard".
The interview, which was filmed 24 hours after Jesy's announcement, saw Perrie in candid form as she opened up on what it has taken to be in the band.
Perrie said: "I don't think we expected it to be this hard. "When you're young and you think of being a popstar, you think, 'Oh I want everyone to love me and ask for my autograph'".
