Leigh-Anne says fans will get to see her speak more about her own experiences in the upcoming BBC documentary, Leigh-Anne: Colourism & Race.‘It’s hard because I feel like I’ve kept in so much for so long, so you’ll see me being very open and honest and also just talking about the wider issue at hand,’ she revealed. ‘Racism is so rife in the UK and I’m just so happy I am getting to explore it and spread the awareness and I am excited for it to come out.’ The singer says she is definitely sensing a shift in attitudes to speaking about issues of racism, with more people being open to having the long-overdue.
