Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall 'ghosted' by One Direction star after one date

BRIT Award winner Jade Thirlwall has spilled the tea on being "ghosted" by a One Direction heartthrob after just one date.The Little Mix star, who shot to fame in 2011 on The X Factor, previously appeared on the show on two prior occasions, including in 2010—the same year One Direction was formed.

It was during this time that she and Harry Styles, then both around 16, went out together. But according to Jade, once Harry hit the big time with his band on the live shows, he suddenly stopped messaging her.

Chatting with Louis Theroux on his podcast, Jade shared: "I didn't know he was going to be Harry Styles did I? I think we went on like one date when again, we were like 16 or something.

Yeah, he'd just got put in the band. And it was really funny because we kept in touch." She added with a laugh, "The minute they went on the live shows, he didn't message me back and I thought that's it now, he's gone, he's made it." But there's no bad blood here; Jade revealed that Harry made amends a year later after she found her own success with Little Mix.
