BBC bosses have decided to postpone the Little Mix talent show, The Search, for at least a year after Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards welcomed their babies into the world.
Leigh-Anne, 29, gave birth to twins earlier this month, with Perrie, 28, also welcoming a child soon after. The show at the time focused on the girl band consisting of Perrie, Leigh-Anne, Jade Thirlwall, 28, and Jesy Nelson, 30, seeking new talent to join them on tour.
Since the first season ended, Jesy has left the group and opted to seek a solo career. With the large changes to the group dynamic and new mothers requiring time to care for their newborns, BBC Entertainment boss Kate Phillips has confirmed that they will not be returning for season two next year.
