Denzel Curry has released a new single ‘HOODLUMZ’ featuring A$AP Rocky, ahead of his latest album ‘King Of The Mischievous South Vol.
2’, which releases today (July 19).‘HOODLUMZ’ sees the first-ever collaboration between Denzel Curry and A$AP Rocky. Rapper PlayThatBoiZay also features on the track, which sees the trio spitting verses over a heavy and skeletal Southern hip-hop beat.
In his verse, A$AP Rocky references the Playboi Carti track ‘R.I.P.’ and gives a shout-out to a 1998 “blonde lace” Eminem.‘HOODLUMZ’ is the closing track – second to the album’s outro – of ‘King Of The Mischievous South Vol.
2’, Curry’s follow-up to his breakout 2012 mixtape ‘King Of The Mischievous South Volume One Underground Tape 1996’.
