Lisa Snowdon in tears as she shares update on 'debilitating' menopause

This Morning presenter Lisa Snowdon broke down in tears after sharing her journey with menopause with fans.The 50 year old shared her menopause experience with fans during an Instagram live after revealing that her symptoms started when she was 42.The TV personality was joined by menopause doctor Naomi Porter for a 30 minute Instagram live about menopause as she opened up on her experience.The star said she’s keen to help others understand and recognise the symptoms of menopause, as she called her own menopause experience “debilitating”.

Lisa shared: “We try and tackle it with lightness, and I think that's important. "And it's a moving target and not a one size fits all." She also referred to the menopause as a “rollercoaster” in the video’s caption.

Lisa penned: “The madness of the menopause continues…. "It’s ok to not be ok that’s the moral of this weeks Midweek Menopause Madness. "Thank you for all your continued support. "It’s a rollercoaster and sometimes depending on lifestyle changes, stress, world events, illness, life in general the darkness and sadness hits me/us. "In times like these it’s good to share, it’s good to talk, it’s also good to reevaluate what might be the triggers, looking at diet, and also making sure we move!” The star regularly speaks out on the menopause in a bid to beat any stigma and was thanked by fans after sharing her latest post.
