James Christian Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC on January 26, 2003 at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California; and on April 1, 2019, at a secondary home, the Zappos Theater on the Las Vegas Strip. Kimmel hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 2016, and the Academy Awards in 2017 and 2018.

Lisa Ling is opening up about how you really have to raise your voice to be heard on The View panel.

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, the 48-year-old journalist revealed that following her return, she was even told by another panelist to stop talking so much. She revealed that on her first day back, she got into a heated argument when she said that President Joe Biden “should apologize to the American people” for calling Fox News’ Peter Doocy a “stupid son of a b****” on a hot mic. Lisa then said that the debate was written up as she was “causing chaos” on the show. “I get along great with the women,” she shared. “Although, during a commercial break, Joy [Behar] did tell me that I was talking too much.” Lisa added, “It is really difficult to get a word in edgewise.

I did a little better this time. I mean, I was 26 when I did the show the first time around.” Her comments come just before moderator Whoopi Goldberg was suspended for two weeks from the show, over what she said about the Holocaust.
