A lip reader has uncovered a bold remark Kate Middleton said to Sophie Wessex at a Remembrance Day event. The Princess of Wales made a rare appearance at the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph earlier today– which was a sign of her gradual return to duties following her cancer diagnosis .

The mum-of-three watched the wreath-laying ceremony from the balcony of the Foreign Office. In the absence of Queen Camilla, who was unwell with a chest infection at home, Kate, was due to take to the central balcony alone.

Kate chatted with and smiled at Sophie at the start of the proceedings. And a lip reader believes she has uncovered what the pair were saying to each other.
