The whole country united in excited support when the England women's football team brought home the Euro 2022 trophy.The team members themselves were seen celebrating on the pitch at the end of the nail biting match and even storming their manager's press conference to happily sing verses of "It's Coming Home".
So we're not surprised that some members of the winning squad exclusively admit to OK! that their celebrations extended well into the next day and that they were all suffering from "sore heads' are partying perhaps a little too hard!
Keira Walsh, 25, who plays for Manchester City, tells us: "The celebrations carried on until the early hours of the morning.
It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity so you’ve got to take advantage of it. It was a really special night with our families and the staff." Lucy Bronze, 30, who also plays for Manchester City says: "There were a lot of sore heads, tired eyes and sunglasses on the Monday morning!" But the trio, including Ellen White, 33, says that the hangovers were worth it!
