mirror.co.ukLionel Messi appeared to shock Elche goalkeeper Edgar Badia by asking for his shirt after Barcelona's 3-0 win over the La Liga side on Wednesday.
Barca got a much-needed victory at the Nou Camp courtesy of a Messi brace and a Jordi Alba volley. And the result means they are still not completely out of the title race, and now sit just five points behind league leaders Atletico Madrid.
At the full-time whistle a number of players exchanged shirts, and Badia made his way towards Messi to ask for the icon's jersey.
The six-time Ballon d'Or winner agreed to the request... and then asked Badia's for his in return. This appeared to surprise the star-struck Spanish shot-stopper, who laughed and joked with Messi after the swap was complete.
