Former Line of Duty star Craig Parkinson is no stranger to the twists and turns of the acclaimed BBC One drama, having starred in the show up until series three.

But now the star, who played corrupt cop Matthew “Dot” Cottan, has revealed he is beginning to worry that one of the series’ most popular characters could meet a tragic end as series six plays out on our screens.

Speaking on his podcast, Obsessed with… Line of Duty, Craig said he has a foreboding feeling that something “tragic” is going to occur as the plot unravels over the next few episodes.
