Line of Duty fans lose it after Phillip Schofield hints the actor who plays ‘H’ will be a guest next week

Philip Schofield hinted that an ‘exciting’ Line of Duty star will be appearing on This Morning after the Line of Duty finale, and now everyone thinks it’s H.

The Irish Mirror reports that the presenter said: ‘The country is gripped by Line of Duty. We have – and all I’m allowed to say is – on Monday’s show we have a very exciting guest pertaining to that show.’ Adding fuel to the fire, his co-host Holly Willoughby added: ‘I’m very glad you’re saying this, I would definitely mess this up.’ Phillip continued to stoke the flames by adding that they’re under very strict orders as to what they can and can’t say.

He said: ‘I’m treading the line of what we were told we were allowed to say this morning and I think I’ve gone right down the middle.’
