Lil Yachty has apologised for picking a side during Cardi B and Nicki Minaj‘s 2018 feud, saying he “inserted” himself into “something he had nothing to do with”.The rapper was the latest guest on former NFL star and media personality Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.

During the episode, Sharpe asked the Atlanta star about a 2018 remark he made on the BET late-night show, Raq Rants. He told Harper he would choose Cardi B’s side in the feud “every time” and ‘couldn’t’ work with Nicki Minaj.“You said you wouldn’t work with her because [of] your allegiance to Cardi B – do you wanna retract that?” Sharper asked Yachty.
