billboard.comOn Friday (July 31), Lil Wayne partnered up with his Young Money comrades Gudda Gudda and Jay Jones for the collective’s newest video “Thug Life.” Filmed at Wayne’s skate park, Weezy is in pure form, delivering high-octane raps at a frenetic pace. “I want my baby pictures on $100 bill/My lazy bit-hes teach my crazy bit-hes how to chill,” he quips.
With his styrofoam cup in hand, he later speeds up his flow on the hypnotic beat, before Jay Jones enters with a punchy verse of his own.
Shortly after, the beat switches up and Gudda Gudda and Wayne begin to trade bars over the ominous soundscape. Two weeks ago, Wayne wrapped up his first season of Young Money Radio with an interview with Birdman.
