Lil Wayne is being sued by one of his former bodyguards after the rapper allegedly threatened him with an assault rifle and then punched him in the head at the musician’s Hidden Hills, Calif., residence two years ago.
In legal documents obtained by The Blast, Carlos Christian accused the “Lollipop” singer of assault and inflicting emotional distress.
The former guard said that following an altercation with the 41-year-old singer in 2021, he went to the bathroom and opened the door to find Wayne, who was still angry, brandishing the rifle.
TMZ, who initially broke the story, reported that Wayne — born Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. — allegedly accused the bodyguard of leaking a photo of him to the press.Christian stated that he immediately left his former employer’s home and called the police.
