Lil Wayne has announced that his former 1990s rap group Hot Boys will be reuniting later this year – find out more below.Yesterday (September 3), the ‘A Milli’ rapper took to social media to announce the return of his Lil’ Weezyana festival in New Orleans on November 2.
The festival’s first line-up has been announced, and has confirmed the reunion of Hot Boys, marking their first onstage performance together since 2000.Performing as part of the Hot Boys reunion are all founding members: Lil Wayne, Juvenile, BG and Turk.
Rob 49 will also be performing at the festival, along with a special DJ set from Hot Boys producer Mannie Fresh. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now, while general tickets go on sale on Friday (September 6) via Ticketmaster.Hot Boys formed in 1997 in Louisiana under the Cash Money banner and released their debut LP ‘Get It How You Live!’ that same year.
