The condition causes people to have involuntary movements and sounds called tics. Lewis, who announced his diagnosis last year, was displaying tics on stage at Glastonbury. The star had taken a break from performing before the festival to focus on his mental health and looked visibly emotional when the huge crowd sang for him.
After the show, he took to Instagram to reveal that he was stepping away from gigs for the "foreseeable future." He is not the only star to reveal a Tourette's diagnosis recently- Billie Eilish also shared she had the condition last year.
Someone who understands the difficulties of being diagnosed with Tourette's as an adult is Kat Congreve, 42, who has been working as an online support group leader for charity Tourettes Action since November.
