Ahead of the Easter bank holiday, budget supermarket Lidl has confirmed it will be closing for part of the long weekend. The retailer is expecting a rise in customers over the weekend - and has now revealed the best time to shop to bag a bargain.
The supermarket is gearing up for its ‘biggest Easter ever’ after welcoming almost one million shoppers last Easter weekend.
The news comes after the discounter was named the UK’s ‘fastest growing supermarket’ last month, with sales rising by 25.8 per cent. However, stores will be closed on Easter Sunday, opening again between 8am and 8pm on the bank holiday Monday. That said, some store opening times may vary and customers are advised to check the store finder on Lidl’s website, for details on their local branch.
