Humped by Hearts. Dumped out of the Scottish Cup by junior outfit Darvel and then hammered by Hibs. Scales had been sent off and then Dons boss Jim Goodwin’s p45 was in the post leaving the young Irishman wondering if he might be better off RETIRING.
That week has came to mind in the last few days with Celtic suffering their own mini-crisis at present. Two league defeats on the spin has got panic setting in for Parkhead punters but Scales knows there are lessons that can be learned from the depths of despair.
