Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

The Brit has decided to try and connect with devotees in a different way, shooting his own digital chat show to share what he’s been up to and how he’s been coping while laying low during the coronavirus pandemic.
In the first episode, posted on Sunday (April 26, 2020), he explained, “This is gonna be a little show that I’m putting together for once a week to round up my week for you guys at home. “It’s just gonna be me, playing through a bunch of random video clips that have happened that week, some things that I find funny, some things that I wanna clear up or just talk about.
