Liam Payne treated his ex Cheryl to a 'secret getaway' to celebrate her 38th birthday. The former couple were recently pictured together for the first time in three years at the end of June and looked at ease in one another's company.

The One Direction star, 27, and Girls Aloud songstress appeared on great terms in the photos that captured them leaving Liam's niece's first birthday bash in Wolverhampton last month.

And now, it has been revealed that Liam planned the getaway 'to make her feel amazing' before she turned 38. The source said: "Liam wanted to do something really special this year to make her feel amazing and to spoil her – especially after so much single parenting during the lockdown – so he took her to a luxury spa retreat to
