Liam Payne has hit out at former One Direction band member Zayn Malik as he revealed in a recent interview that he “dislikes” his former friend “for many reasons” following the breakdown of their friendship.

The singer, 28, who first shot to fame alongside Zayn, 29, as part of band One Direction on The X-Factor back in 2010, opened up about their rocky relationship following Zayn’s departure from the band.

Speaking candidly on the podcast Impaulsive with Logan Paul, Liam shared his thoughts on the recent headlines involving his bandmate, specifically the troubling rumour that he allegedly 'shoved' Gigi Hadid's mum, Yolanda Hadid, into a dresser during a heated argument.

In the frank discussion, Liam openly admitted that while there are many reason he will always “dislike” Zayn, there are also several reasons why he will always stand by his estranged friend, after the two formed a bond during six years of touring and performing together.
