The ex-One Direction star lost his life after falling from the third-floor balcony of a Buenos Aires hotel in October last year, dying tragically at the age of 31.
At the time, Liam had been in a two-year relationship with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy. Payne's turbulent romance with influencer-turned-author Maya lasted from 2018 until 2022.
After their split, Maya penned a fictionalised version of her experiences in the book Looking Forward. In the days leading up to Liam's untimely death, she posted a TikTok alleging that he had been harassing her through various iCloud accounts.
