Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction
Liam Payne has revealed that his four year old son Bear came up with a naughty way to escape school for a day. The Strip That Down singer, who shares son Bear with ex Cheryl, revealed how the little boy claimed to his teacher that he had coronavirus symptoms in order to take the day off school.
Former One Direction star Liam, 28, shared the insight in a Q and A to his 24 million Instagram followers when a fan asked about Bear.
Liam said: "Bear is good. I don't know if I have told you this already but he went to school the other day and decided that he didn't want to go and I think he has learned because of Covid that if you have Covid you don't have to go to school. "Which is quite sneaky but it also shows he is quite smart that he figured out that if he pretended he had got the virus like, 'oh I can't go into school,' then he would get the day off school."
