Liam Neeson’s son Micheál Richardson has opened up about the death of his mum Natasha Richardson in 2009.The 25-year-old – who changed his last name from Neeson to Richardson two years ago for her – has not ‘fully comprehended’ losing his mum when he was 13.Actress Natasha died after suffering a head injury while skiing and Micheál said he ‘didn’t deal’ with her death, and is still dealing with it now.Speaking to Vanity Fair, he explained: ‘I think the pain was a little too overwhelming.
I think the mind is very powerful, and subconsciously, or unconsciously, it can protect you. ‘That’s what it did when she passed.
