Liam Neeson, 72, reveals dating life update 15 years after wife Natasha Richardson’s ‘horrible’ death

Richardson was 45.“It was a horrible thing to happen,” Neeson said about the tragedy.The couple are parents to sons Micheál, 29, and Daniel, 28.
The boys were 13 and 12, respectively, when their mom died.Micheál changed his surname from Neeson to his late mother’s maiden name to honor her in 2018.Neeson told People that after Richardson died, his priority was his sons and “making sure they were okay.”“Everybody just pulled together,” he said, crediting his mother-in-law, Vanessa Redgrave, and his sister-in-law, Joely Richardson, for helping him with the kids in the aftermath.“We were fortunate in lots of ways,” Neeson added.The “Taken” star’s oldest son has followed in his parents’ footsteps as an actor.
Micheál even worked with his famous dad in the 2020 comedy-drama movie “Made in Italy.”“I think Natasha would be proud,” said Neeson. “I hope so.” Neeson met Richardson in 1993 while working on the Broadway show “Anna Christie.” They got married at their farmhouse in upstate New York in July 1994, two years after Richardson’s divorce from her first husband, Robert Fox.
