Liam Gallagher has blamed his brother Noel for starting a public feud with Blue frontman Damon Albarn by telling him to "catch AIDS and die".
Liam and Noel's band Oasis was embroiled in a lengthy spat with Damon's rival Britpop group Blur back in the 1990s. It was reported this weekend that the feud was allegedly started by a cocaine-fuelled love triangle involving Liam and Damon.
The pair were said to have fallen out after discovering Damon had a fling with Liam's unnamed girlfriend. However, Liam has now spoken out to insist the claims aren't true - and blamed his estranged brother Noel for starting the spat with his AIDS jibe.
