Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

Liam Gallagher announces new album with song dedicated to Noel as well as return to Knebworth 25 years later

Despite his ongoing feud with brother Noel Gallagher, 54, Liam revealed that he has actually dedicated a new song on his upcoming album to him.

He told The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X: ‘Right there’s a new one called, this next single is gonna be called Better Days and it’s full of sunshine. ‘And then there’s another one I Wish I Had More Power and it’s dedicated to Noel.

Yeah, it’s a naughty little tune, but it’s lovely.’Liam’s return to Knebworth comes 25 years after Oasis played to a record 250,000 fans across two days in August 1996.

The Wonderwall stars also recently released the documentary Oasis Knebworth 1996 to mark the milestone and give fans a glimpse at the show.
