Lewis Ferguson has been "let down" by Aberdeen after the club knocked back a transfer request from the player. The Scotland Under-21 midfielder is desperate to play in the English top flight and wants to push the move through and put in a transfer request.However, the Pittodrie chiefs knocked back the move and branded the £1.2million offer from Watford "insulting".Record Sport understand Aberdeen are willing to allow Ferguson, who has three years left on his contract, to leave - but not at the price Watford have offered at around £1.2million.
The player’s agent Bill McMurdo has now went on the offensive and insisted there was an agreement with the club that if an English top flight side came in the 21-year-old would be allowed to leave.
