Lewis Capaldi’s Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent celebrates its first birthday on the Official Irish Albums Chart by entering the record books, according to new data from IRMA and OfficialCharts.com/Ireland.
With its 15th non-consecutive week topping the charts, Divinely Uninspired… has now scored the most weeks at Number 1 this millennium for a debut album.
The other debuts to spend 10 or more weeks at Number 1 since 2000 are: James Blunt’s Back To Bedlam which managed 14 weeks across 2005-2006; The Killers’ Hot Fuss which spent 11 weeks at the top in 2005; and Norah Jones’ Come Away With Me, which led the Top 50 for nine weeks in 2003, before earning a tenth week at Number 1 in 2004, remarkably knocking her second album from the
