Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. Lewis Capaldi’s “Bruises” snags the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top TV Songs chart, powered by Tunefind, on the strength of its appearance in an episode of Magnum P.I.

Rankings for the Top TV Songs chart are based on song and show data provided by Tunefind and ranked using a formula blending that data with sales and streaming information tracked by MRC Data during the corresponding period of February 2021. “Bruises” featured in the seventh episode of the third season of the CBS reboot.

In February 2021, “Bruises” accumulated 12 million U.S. on-demand streams and 2,000 downloads, according to MRC Data. It’s followed by the Jauz remix of Shaed’s “Trampoline,” which appeared in the premiere episode of Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia.
