Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. On 17 May 2019 he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for six weeks.

Lewis Capaldi responds after fan says his band-mate mouthed "f*** off" during performance

Lewis Capaldi has responded to fans after viewers noticed his keyboard player apparently mouthed "f*** off" during his performance.

The 26-year-old star took to Twitter after his performance at the National Television Awards to perform his new single Forget Me.

However, during the performance fans picked up on what could have been a foul mothed comment from his band-mate. One viewer wrote: "Lewis Capaldi's Keyboard player just Mouthed F*£k off at the camera man!!

What an unprofessional little turd #NationalTelevisionAwards," and the Someone You Loved singer quickly clapped back: "I agree Pete, totally unacceptable, will be having words.
