Scottish hit sensation Lewis Capaldi has been hailed as a "superhero" for rushing to the aid of an elderly woman in the north of London after she collapsed.
Lewis immediately dialled emergency services and waited with her until the ambulance arrived.The singer, 27, was reportedly walking with pals in Hampstead Heath when they saw the woman on the ground.
An ambulance arrived shortly after and took her to hospital. A bystander said Lewis never left until he knew she was safe."Lewis is not just a superstar but a superhero," the person witnessing the event told The Sun. "We saw him helping an old woman who had collapsed on the ground and it turned out he’d rushed over to help when he saw her."They added: "Lewis and his mates called an ambulance and made sure they stayed with the woman until help arrived."He clearly has a massive heart.
Good on him."It comes as the Pointless singer announced he was taking a break from the music industry earlier this year, after admitting he was putting himself and his health first after his Tourettes became harder to control due to his mounting fame.Lewis was forced to halt his Glastonbury performance back in June as he was struggling and has seen an outpouring of support for taking a much-needed rest.
