Leonardo DiCaprio's and J.J. Abrams' production companies will work together on the film adaptation of Stephen King's bestseller Billy Summers.
Deadline reported that the two companies, DiCaprio's Appian Way and Abrams' Bad Robot, would be working together on the film which is to be written by Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz who co-wrote Tom Cruise's The Last Samurai together.
Zwick also directed DiCaprio's 2006 film Blood Diamond which garnered the star a Best Actor Oscar nod.The publication reported that the project was originally going to be a 10-episode miniseries, but it was decided the book would work better as a feature-length film.
