Leona Lewis has shared her experience of dealing with a racist shop assistant who wanted her 'thrown out of a store' after her X Factor win The singer, 35, said she was told 'not to touch' anything as she browsed items at an upmarket west London high street shop with her dad almost a decade ago.
Leona said she felt inspired to speak out after hearing people say racism was not as much a problem in the UK as it is in America.
Speaking on an Instagram video she began: "A few years ago, my dad and I were on a high street in London. "At the time, my management company was in Fulham, so we were walking around the area after a meeting. "I didn’t realise at the time that all of the other customers were white.
