The former Hibs frontman began his striking exploits for the Glasgow club some six-and-a-half years ago against Hearts and has overcome plenty of setbacks on his way to a current tally of 118.
He overtook the previous number 20, 1940s and 50s forward Bobby Collins, when he climbed off the bench to finish off Tom Rogic's rebound against the Czechs.
And though the result was less than pleasing - "embarrassing", in team-mate Callum McGregor's books - Griffiths is delighted to climb up the rankings yet again, and he insists he's not finished.
