Former Dundee boss James McPake insists Leigh Griffiths is "serious" about kick-starting his career again in the summer. The striker has struggled to find his feet this season having been handed a one-year extension at Celtic to kick-off the campaign.
However, he was quickly shipped out to McPake's Dee side by Ange Postecoglou on loan where he failed to hold down a regular starting spot in the team.
His Parkhead contract was ripped out in January and the Scotland cap is with mid-table League One side Falkirk as they aim for a playoff push.
Despite a major dip in his career, former boss and trusted ally McPake insists the 31-year-old will look to relaunch his career in the summer.He reckons clubs will be lining up to sign Griffiths - if he can keep himself fit.McPake told The Go Radio Football Show: "I believe there is still time for him."He is hungry to get himself back.
