Celtic outcast Leigh Griffiths has been benched for Dundee as he bids to earn a Dens Park deal. The striker will become a free agent at the end of the month after his Parkhead contract was ripped up while on loan with The Dark Blues.
The 31-year-old will see out the remainder of his his loan with the Premiership strugglers having netted twice so far this season.
Griffiths scored in the last game before the winter break against Aberdeen, but boss James McPake has dropped the Scotland cap with his career in limbo for the clash with Livingston.
He will be hoping to make a cameo and impress against the Lions. Dundee go into the game in West Lothian having lost their last six games and sitting second bottom of the table.
