Leigh-Anne Pinnock has reportedly signed a record deal with Warner Music in a bid to kick start her solo music career. In the wake of Jesy Nelson leaving the band at the end of 2020, there have long been concerns that the remaining three members of Little Mix — Leigh-Anne, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards — plan on going their separate ways as well.
Adding fuel to the fire, the trio announced in December that they were going on break after their upcoming tour, but insisted that they weren’t breaking up.
Now it’s been reported that Leigh-Anne, 30, who became a mum for the first time in August, has signed her own record deal. A source told The Sun: “A number of labels were keen to bag Leigh-Anne but Warner seemed the best fit. “She’s already been in the studio working on tracks for months.” “Leigh-Anne unequivocally loves Little Mix and always will, but the truth is she’s been ready to branch out on her own for some time,” they added.
OK! have approached Leigh-Anne's reps for comment. Leigh-Anne proved her solo singing abilities in her debut movie Boxing Day, where she played singer Georgia, and showcased two solo songs.
