Move over Queen Elizabeth, there's a new type of royalty that is heading for the Royal Mail stamps. Legendary rock stars Queen appear to be in Bohemian Rhapsodies after being immortalised in a set of 13 stamps.
Eight of the band’s albums and five of the band in action make up the £16 collection, on sale from July 6 . Guitarist Brian May, 72, said: “Sometimes it’s strange to wake up and realise… we have become a national institution.” The band's drummer Drummer Roger Taylor, 70, added: “Wow!
Stamps featuring our albums, what an honour. "We must be really part of the furniture now.” Queen have sold more than 300 million records since 1970 with albums such as News of the World and number one singles like Bohemian Rhapsody.
