and headed back home to Cleveland for the third time. A few weeks after James signed his two-year extension with the Lakers with a player option after one year the Cleveland Cavaliers made a very unexpected move and acquired three-time all-star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell from the Utah Jazz.
Donovan Mitchell has been rumored to be going to the New York Knicks via the trade for years now and it now seems yet again that the Knicks dropped the ball.
The Cavaliers now have a widely talented starting lineup with Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, Isaac Okoro, and now Donovan Mitchell.This new trade has had LeBron James wishing he did not sign that extension as the Lakers have had a lot of issues and have missed the playoffs more than once since James came to town.
