Dundee United assistant manager Lee McCulloch is confident Lawrence Shankland will stay for next season's Premiership return.
The striker is hot property after 24 goals in just 25 games helped the Arabs win promotion in a curtailed Championship season.
The Scotland international has been linked with a summer move, but McCulloch is confident he'll stay at Tannadice. He told the Evening Telegraph : "We all know what can happen (possible transfer) but Lawrence is an honest boy. “When he says he is happy at a club then you should believe him.“It tells me that he is content at the moment with things and there is also a baby on the way for him and his partner.“We, obviously, want to keep him as he is more than a goalscorer to our club.
