Law & Order: SVU's Kelli Giddish and Peter Scanavino's characters get married in new episode

Kelli Giddish is saying goodbye to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in grand style with an on-screen wedding.The 42-year-old actress, who has appeared on the long-running crime series since 2011, will see her character, Detective Amanda Rollins, tie the knot with Assistant District Attorney Dominick Carisi Jr. (Peter Scanavino) on Thursday's upcoming SVU episode.The wedding will be a major sendoff for Giddish, who leaving the series after the episode.

In new stills from NBC, Giddish can be seen in a lovely white dress as her character has what looks like a courthouse wedding.

The satin dress features long, puffy sleeves and a raised collar with a modest skirt that reaches down to her ankles. Scanavino looked dapper with a navy blue three-piece suit.The on-screen wedding may have been a rushed affair, as Captain Olivia Benson (Hargitay), Sergeant Fin Tutuola (Ice-T) and Jr.
